Is PairGuru available across Canada?
Yes. PairGuru serves members across all Canadian provinces and territories, with the largest member communities in Toronto, Brampton, Mississauga, Vancouver, Surrey, Calgary, Edmonton, Ottawa, Montreal and Winnipeg. The platform is operated from Edmonton, Alberta.
How much does PairGuru cost?
Registering and creating a profile on PairGuru is free. Paid membership, which unlocks contact details and full profiles, starts at CAD $19.99 for one month, with quarterly (CAD $29.99), semi-annual (CAD $49.99) and annual (CAD $99.99) plans available. There are no hidden fees and you can cancel at any time.
Are the profiles on PairGuru verified?
Yes. Every PairGuru profile is manually reviewed by our team before it goes live. We check that the account has a confirmed email address and that the profile details and photo are complete and consistent before approving it.
Who can join PairGuru?
Anyone aged 18 or over who is legally eligible to marry may join PairGuru. The platform welcomes all religions, communities and backgrounds, and profiles may be created by the individual or by a parent, sibling or relative on their behalf.
Can I create a matrimonial profile for my son or daughter?
Yes. When registering you can choose who the profile is for — yourself, your son, daughter, brother, sister, relative or friend. This reflects how many Canadian South Asian families search for a match together.
Membership & payment
How do I contact a member I am interested in?
Open the member's profile and select "Express Interest". They receive an email notification with your details. To view a member's phone number and full profile directly, you need an active paid membership.
What information stays private on PairGuru?
Your surname, phone number, email address, income, education details and clear profile photo are hidden from members without a paid membership. Your password is never visible to anyone, and payment card details are handled entirely by Stripe and never stored by PairGuru.
Can I cancel my PairGuru membership?
Yes. You can cancel a PairGuru membership at any time and your access continues until the end of the billing period you already paid for. After it ends, your account reverts to free access rather than being deleted.
Which payment methods does PairGuru accept?
PairGuru accepts Visa, Mastercard and American Express in Canadian dollars. All payments are processed securely by Stripe, and PairGuru never stores your card details.
Matches
How long does it take to find a match on PairGuru?
It varies by member. Many PairGuru members exchange their first genuine interest within the first few weeks of completing a profile. Profiles with a clear photo, complete education and career details, and an active membership receive noticeably more interest.
